Writing Without Limits
“If you obey all the rules, you miss all the fun.” – Katharine Hepburn
The benefit of working with a writer with a diverse background is her ability to move smoothly from idea and research through interviews to writing and editing for any given topic in any form of copy. For over 15 years I’ve worked in the fields of communications to hone these skills and more.
I’m well versed in preparing marketing and public relations materials such as press releases, ghostwritten articles, white papers, newsletter copy, etc. This translates into the ability to seamlessly blend important messaging with informative copy. And I’ve published more than 500 feature stories, news articles, columns, blog posts and web copy.
My work has appeared in newspapers in the U.S. and Canada and most recently in DiscoverMagazine.com, Quartz, several publications of the American Association for the Advancement of Science, US Healthcare Journals, Earth Island Journal and others. I’m a Fellow of the Peter Jennings Project for Journalists and the Constitution and have earned feature and news writing awards from the Society of Professional Journalists.
